Each workshop is delivered by Rebecca Burch, Alex Brown, Hannah Powell or Anya Perkins. Our team has extensive experience and qualifications in Nature Pedagogy, and all currently still work in the field in Bush and Beach Kindy programs. 

Yes, at the end of each course you will receive a hard copy printed certificate with the professional development hours included.  

Yes, if you are booking for a Calendar event for a single educator – at the end Eventbrite will ask you to pay by Invoice or by Credit Card. If you select an invoice, this will automatically be sent to you via email.

All our workshops go ahead in the rain, just be prepared as we do have activities both inside and outside, so pack wet weather gear.

Yes of course, just email hello@bushkindyaustralia.com.au so our team can organise a new booking for the educator, this will ensure they receive emails afterward with the resources and a certificate in their name.

Yes of course, whilst calendar workshops are consistently the same content, workshops delivered to services at their centres are personalised to ensure we are supporting the needs of the staff team. During the planning phase, we discuss where your team is at in their nature play journey and customise the workshop to suit.

Yes most of our customised workshops for services are on weekends, we even have done Sunday as sometimes staff teams have had Saturday sport on.

Yes, all of the time. We are frequently visiting North QLD and regional rural areas, even catering to teams as small as 4 educators. In fact we actively support more regional area than city due to the need and our willingness to travel.

Yes absolutely, our workshop and mentor sessions build educator capability and support inclusion in all approved kindergarten programs through evidence-based initiatives that lift outcomes for kindy children. Our professional development aligns with the EYLF, QKLG by focusing on the Kindy Uplift priority areas; Social and emotional capability, Physicality, Thinking and responding, Oral language and communication and Access and inclusion.

We have many guests coming from interstate or North QLD and there are a few options. The workshop is held in Nerang and this is a country town with motels with basic facilities; Nightcap at Hinterland Hotel or Nightcap at Commercial Hotel. If you prefer something with more facilities, try Elite Gold Coast, Mercure or Royal Pines all in Carrara. Some educators like to make a holiday of it and find accommodation in Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise.
