Join us for a transformative workshop on “Aboriginal Perspectives in the Early Years Learning Framework”.

Facilitated by the renowned Jessica Staines, Koori Curriculum Director, this session promises an enriching experience unlike any other.

  • Together we will dive deep into the Early Years Learning Framework and explore ways to program and plan through an authentic Aboriginal lens.

  • Discover how to infuse your curriculum with Aboriginal culture by using the 8ways of learning, creating cultural learning plans, and crafting reconciliation commitment statements.

  • Uncover the myriad of possibilities of intertwining culture throughout all EYLF outcomes, principles and practices.

Sustainability and Nature Play in the Early Years Learning Framework

Bec from Cottonwood Learning will share insights of the new principle of Sustainability in practice and how it interweaves with nature pedagogy in this live session. With extensive experience in nature play and bush kindy programs, the workshop will enrich your pedagogical understandings and curriculum planning.

This session will support educators to:

  • Explore the new Sustainability Principle in EYLF 2.0

  • Reflect on our teams Sustainability’s Super skills

  • Examine what the principle looks like in Practice in nature play

  • Consider place based pedagogy and what your own context offers for curriculum inspiration and provocations.
