CONSULTANCY & MENTORING SESSIONS

We provide continuity of learning in your professional development plans and empower your leadership team with the strategies for success.
Our facilitator will meet you on site or online to provide you with direct coaching that is specific to your programs needs. These sessions often occur collectively with the 1 day workshops delivered to your whole team, 3 hour mentoring blocks may occur before or after and is with team of 2-5 educators in your leadership team.
Session topics are varied and our popular ones are:
- Getting ready for a Bush Kindy Program analysis – checking all the planning, documents, policies, risk assessments and ensuring you are equipped ready to head out the fence. We help you tick the boxes and fill in the gaps with our templates ready to contextualise to your program.
- First days at Bush Kindy – we head out on your excursion with you, on site engagement with staff and children, co-facilitating a session, real-time feedback and support. This gives new staff or a new program the reassurance of an experienced facilitator present to support.
- What do we do at Bush Kindy – teams often manage to get out onto a site but then are looking for fresh ideas about play and learning experiences out in nature. This hands on session will help map learning opportunities that extend from children’s interests.
- Nature play in the centre space – wondering how you can enhance your program through nature play and embed nature pedagogy across your services practices? Then we can give you ideas and support.
Our mentor sessions are all about you and what your program needs, so we discuss and listen and offer solutions to support you on your nature play journey.
